Michael J Would Be Proud

I awoke this morning from a dream I’ve never had before.  Every so often, I have a dream or nightmare while I’m asleep, that leaves a lasting impression while I’m awake.  That’s how I know they were good… or heavy.

The more I thought about my last night’s dream, the more I realized that it was a little bit of both.  And that it closely resembled elements of a fantastic movie series.

The only real part of the dream I remember is that my wife (Erica) and I somehow managed to go back in time, to the year 1955.  We were in what could be considered a 1955 version of our current house.  And it was awesome.  Then I woke up.

Over coffee and delinquent mortgage documents, I spent the morning considering the more logistical effects of such an epic transition.  What would we do for money?  How will we pay taxes if we can’t prove who we are?  What things would we invest in.  (Guitars, naturally.)  How do we make sure those investments last until whenever we get back to the future…YEAH!!!  I typed it without even meaning to.  Crap.  Not sure where to go from there, but I will pose the question:

What practical things would you do if you and your mate were sent back to 1955?
Let me hear it.

All three of you that follow this.
